With its unique vantage point, Rauba Capeù is a popular location for photos, especially with the backdrop of Nice’s azure waters and iconic skyline.

At 190 meters above sea level, Mont Boron offers sweeping views of both Nice and the neighboring town of Villefranche-sur-Mer. Built in the 16th century, the fort was strategically located to oversee both Nice and Villefranche-sur-Mer. Unlike more central viewpoints, Fort Alban is relatively uncrowded, providing a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path experience with a serene atmosphere, perfect for a quiet retreat.

Belvédère de Villefranche-sur-Mer is one of several jaw-dropping lookouts in a small coastal village with quaint buildings, classic and historic fishing ports and dramatic cliffside views. What sets this viewpoint apart from other lookouts in the village is that it’s lesser known, a hidden gem of the region. The Garden of Cimiez Arenas at the bottom of a historic monastery in the northern area of Nice offers superb panoramic city views. It’s just a stone’s throw away from the arena, 6 minutes from the city centre, and is reminiscent of an Italian garden. The garden itself provides plenty of photo opportunities and once served as the kitchen garden and monks’ orchard for the monastery.

Rooftop bars can be found dotted all across Nice, a city that is famous for its vibrant nightlife, and all offer outstanding opportunities for city views, delicious cocktails and parties. Among the more popular locales is the Hotel Aston La Scala’s rooftop Moon Bar with views of the Promenade du Paillon’s gardens.

Le Plongeoir which means ‘The Diving Board’ where you can dine right above the waves, or even on the towering belle époque platforms that were made into diving boards in the ensuing years. It’s an authentic icon, and the unique architecture is emblematic of the golden years in Nice.
